Good People was born in the trenches of service. We've been there. We've seen it. After years of working directly with principals, teachers, parents, and non profits we learned a thing or two.
We started assessing what aspects made volunteering a drag, and what could really help local partners. We also wanted to make service accessible for youth, and bring folks together.
Then one day, in a program that joined second grade classes from different backgrounds together in service, it happened. This particular day the two classes had joined forces at the senior center. Their small acts had huge impact that rippled throughout the community. As the children and seniors danced together to end the day, it became clear... Points of connection and unity through service. Welcome to Good People.
